Thinking about the UEi EM152 Digital Manometer? There are a few things some folks have pointed out that might be worth knowing.
So, it's got this protective rubber cover with a built-in magnet. The idea is to stick it onto metal surfaces so you can keep your hands free while working, which sounds super handy, especially if you're in HVAC and need your hands for other tasks.
But, here's the thing—our research shows that some have had trouble with the magnet. It doesn't always hold as strongly as you'd want, which might mess with your readings if you're relying on it to stay put for precise measurements.
If that magnetic feature is a big deal for you, you might want to play around with it to see if it works for your setup. A few folks have mentioned cleaning the surface or adding some extra support to help stabilize it, which could be worth a shot.
Other than that, it can be helpful to check out a bunch of reviews to get a full picture of how it holds up in various situations. Some say the magnet's fine for simple tasks, but it might not cut it if you're doing something more demanding.
Bottom line, if you're considering this manometer, just make sure it lines up with what you need. Trying it out in different scenarios could save you some headaches down the road.
