If you're struggling with the adhesive clips that come with the TFu Multi-Purpose Photo Display Cable, you're definitely not alone. Our research suggests that the adhesive sometimes isn't the most reliable. The cable comes with 12 clips which can be either self-adhesive or nailed down, according to the manufacturer's description. But it seems like the adhesive doesn't always do the trick.
Many people have mentioned the sticky backing not holding well. Some have even said that the clips fell off quickly and, in a few cases, pulled off paint from the wall. For example, someone noted that even after cleaning and prepping the surface properly, the adhesive clips wouldn't stay.
If you want something more dependable, you might want to try using Command hooks, which a lot of people say work well and are easy to remove.
Another straightforward option is to use nails, which provide a more secure way to hang the cable.
While the self-adhesive part might not be super reliable, it's worth noting that the wire and clips themselves are praised for their quality and functionality once securely mounted.
So, if you're thinking about using this display, it's a good idea to plan on using a more secure option than the supplied adhesive. This way, you can enjoy hanging your photos and artwork without worrying about things falling.
Enjoy decorating!
