Yes, It Really Works (And Pet Parents Love It)

If you're tired of robot vacuums that bump into everything and get tangled in cables, the Roomba j7 will feel like a revelation. This thing actually sees what it's doing.

Smart Enough to Avoid Your Stuff

The j7 uses a front-facing camera with its own LED light to spot obstacles before hitting them. Think of it like giving your robot vacuum a pair of eyes. It recognizes over 170 different objects—from charging cables to shoes to pet toys.

Here's what makes it special: when it sees something new, it takes a photo and asks you what to do. "Should I avoid this dog toy forever, or just clean around it?" Over time, it learns your preferences and becomes smarter about navigating your specific home.

The Game-Changer for Pet Owners

This is where the j7 really shines. It's the only robot vacuum that can spot and avoid pet waste—and iRobot is so confident they'll replace your robot free if it fails during the first year. (Though this only covers solid accidents, not liquids.)

As one customer put it: "Finally, a robot I can trust to run while I'm at work, even with my unpredictable puppy at home."

What Real Users Say

The reviews tell the story better than any marketing materials:

• "Hasn't gotten stuck on cables once in six months"
• "Navigates around my kids' toys without moving them"
• "I can actually trust it to clean while I'm away"

The j7 doesn't just clean your floors—it respects your space while doing it. That's the difference between a smart robot and just another bumper car.
