The Vatican Imports 6mm Italian Rosary, especially the teal version, is made of plastic. The manufacturer describes it as being crafted from durable plastic, meant to handle regular use. They've made a point to mention the 'QuadLink' chain design, which is intended to add some extra durability.
According to our research, people have mixed opinions about the quality of the plastic. Some folks really like how it looks and think it's great for special occasions like First Communions, or just as a nice piece for everyday use. They generally feel the design fits their needs well.
On the flip side, some people aren't too thrilled with the plastic, describing it as somewhat cheap-feeling. A few even mentioned it was flimsier than they expected for plastic, which led them to gift it to someone else instead.
The rosary comes with features like a lobster clasp and cable chain, which can be convenient for some people.
In the end, opinions are pretty divided, so it comes down to whether the affordable price of $13.75 and vibrant design match what you're looking for—whether as a gift or for yourself.
