Hey! So, about the TOPGREENER TU22036AC-W-10PCS and old electrical boxes—here's the scoop.
The manufacturer says it has a standard installation size, so it should fit most existing boxes. But, things can get tricky with older or non-standard boxes, especially if they're already packed with wires. Some of our research suggests that these older boxes might not have enough depth for this outlet without adjustments.
It’s really worth checking the depth and available space in your current box first to avoid any headaches. Quite a few people have had success installing it easily, but others mentioned needing to get box extenders or even new boxes.
If you're not sure about your box's size and space, getting advice from an electrician might be a good idea.
In short, it's a solid outlet, but definitely double-check your electrical box if your home is on the older side.
