Yep, the NETGEAR Nighthawk CAX30S works with Xfinity, along with other big players like Spectrum and Cox.

That's what the manufacturer's description says, anyway. It's built to handle speeds up to 2Gbps, so it's a solid pick if you're after a fast and stable internet connection.

Getting it set up should be pretty easy, as long as it matches up with your internet provider's requirements. From what we’ve found, you'll usually need to connect it through your provider's app—like using the Xfinity app if you're with Comcast—and then tweak a few settings in the NETGEAR Nighthawk app to manage your network and devices.

A heads-up, though: make sure your modem/router is activated correctly by your provider. Some folks have run into issues with automatic activation or firmware updates, so you might need to reach out to your ISP if you hit a snag.

Setting it up might get tricky, especially if ISP support isn't super cooperative or if there are firmware or settings changes. Most of these hiccups can be sorted out with a bit of patience and maybe some extra help.

Here's a little tip we picked up: try using a laptop instead of your phone for the initial setup. It might make things a bit smoother since some have found it less complicated than using a mobile device.

In short, the NETGEAR Nighthawk CAX30S does offer great speed and flexibility once you're past the setup phase.

Just be prepared for a few bumps here and there, especially if you're switching providers or tweaking more than the basic settings. Understanding these potential issues can definitely help you have a better experience with the device.
