The LOVMOR Large Chicken Coop seems to do a decent job of keeping chickens safe, but it might fall short if you’re dealing with bigger animals or very determined predators. According to how the manufacturer describes it, the coop is made from alloy steel and has a PVC-coated hexagonal wire mesh designed to shield the chickens from common threats. However, it's primarily built with poultry in mind, so it might struggle against stronger animals like large dogs.

Based on our research, opinions vary when folks try to use it for pets other than chickens. Some feedback, like from someone named Gabriella Guidera, mentioned disappointment because a determined dog could easily get through the wire mesh and zip ties.

Another person, Doc, said that while it works well for chickens, the wire isn’t tough enough for dogs. This suggests that while it's good for chickens, it might not be as effective if you're trying to keep other animals secure.

If you're thinking beyond just chickens, you could try reinforcing the coop. Using thicker wire mesh and replacing the plastic zip ties with metal ones might help make it sturdier against stronger animals.

If you want something that works for both chickens and larger animals, you might want to check out structures specifically designed for that, like more heavy-duty kennels.

In short, if your main focus is keeping chickens safe, this coop should do the trick. But if you're worried about larger or more aggressive animals, you might need to make some tweaks or look into other options that offer more strength and security.
