The Little Tikes Easy Score Soccer Set is pretty popular for young kids just starting out with soccer, so let's see if it holds up for outdoor play. The manufacturer's description mentions a metal goal, and our research confirms it's quite sturdy for kids playing in the yard.
On the other hand, the soccer ball that comes with the set is smaller and inflatable, which is great for toddlers. It's styled like a real soccer ball, but older kids might find it a bit lacking, especially if they're looking to play more seriously. Some folks might end up purchasing a larger ball for more of a challenge.
Now, about that ball: we've come across some mixed reviews on its durability. It seems it might need frequent re-inflation because it loses air over time. Plus, there have been some hiccups with the pump—it sometimes arrives without the inflation needle, or the needle might be hidden in the handle, which is easy to miss.
So, if you're just aiming to introduce little ones to soccer, the ball should work fine. But if you're looking at longer sessions or an option for older kids, it could be worth getting a sturdier ball.
All in all, the goal post is solid for outdoor use, making this set a good option for kids. Just keep the ball limitations in mind if your kids are planning to play for longer periods.
