The HEASON Outdoor Dog Kennel sounds like it could be a good option for some dogs, but there are a few things to think about if you've got a big one. The manufacturer makes a big deal out of its lockable design to keep dogs from escaping or facing issues with predators, which is great.
From what we've found, the lock works well for small to medium dogs, and it's easy enough for owners to manage. But when it comes to larger or especially strong pups, some details jump out. There've been cases where bigger dogs have managed to mess with the doors or even get out, which seems to point to the kennel not being strong enough for every large dog out there.
If you're dealing with a large and lively dog, you might want to think about ways to beef up the kennel's security. Some folks have considered reinforcing the structure or reaching out to the manufacturer about possible updates. This could make it more reliable for containing those power-packed pets.
Bottom line, the HEASON Kennel can work well for smaller breeds but might need some tweaks for the big guys. If your dog likes to push boundaries, you might want to take extra steps to lock things down.
With a bit of extra effort, though, this kennel could still be a handy way to keep your dog safe in the yard.
