The Fender FA-125 Dreadnought is a pretty good choice if you're just getting started with playing guitar. It's part of a package that includes some handy extras like a gig bag, a guitar stand, a digital tuner, two picks, a spare set of alloy steel strings, and three months of access to Fender Play, which is an online lesson platform. These are great add-ons when you're beginning and aren't sure what you'll need.

The gig bag can make it easier to carry your guitar around, though we found that it's a bit on the thin side. If you're planning on taking your guitar out and about a lot, you might want to look into a more padded gig bag or maybe a hard case for some extra protection.

As for the guitar, it's often mentioned as a solid pick for beginners thanks to its affordable price and decent sound quality. According to the manufacturer's product description, it has a basswood construction that makes it sturdy and gives it a warm tone, which is nice for those just getting used to the instrument. This warm sound can make learning a bit easier and more fun.

While it might not have the same sound depth as higher-end guitars, the dreadnought body shape of the FA-125 does offer a nice rich bass tone. It's great for learning chords and starting off with fingerstyle playing.

So if you're new to guitar and looking for something that won't cost a fortune but still gives you a good start, the FA-125 is a decent option. Our research suggests it's a well-liked entry-level guitar that comes with what you need to kick off your music journey.
