The Eve Flare mostly plays nice with Apple stuff. The manufacturer says it works best with Apple HomeKit, so you’d use it with things like iPhones, iPads, and the HomePod.

You can control it using the Home app on your Apple devices or through Siri, which makes it pretty seamless if your smart home setup is all Apple. You can tweak brightness and colors through the Eve app or the Home app, and there are even some buttons on the base for basic things like turning it on or changing colors.

But, if you’re hoping to use it with Google Home or Amazon Alexa, you’re out of luck. Our research shows it doesn’t support those platforms.
