Yeah, the Brother MFC-J4535DW could be a good fit for a home office. However, there's a catch: it doesn't do duplex scanning.
It does have an Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) for up to 20 sheets, but that only works for single-sided scanning and copying. On the printing side, it can automatically print on both sides of the paper, which is great for saving paper and time.
But for double-sided scanning, you'd have to flip the pages by hand, which might get annoying if you do it often. If duplex scanning is a big deal for you, you might want to look at other options that handle it automatically.
According to our research, the Brother MFC-J4535DW is generally reliable and efficient for home offices, especially with its INKvestment Tank system that keeps the cost per page down and stretches the time between ink changes.
Plus, it's got several ways to connect, like Wi-Fi, USB, and Ethernet, so it should fit into your setup pretty easily. The manufacturer also mentions it supports mobile printing via Google Cloud Print, Apple AirPrint, and the Brother iPrint&Scan app, which is pretty handy.
So, while the lack of duplex scanning might be a downside for some, the printer's other features—like automatic duplex printing, a cost-effective ink system, and multiple connectivity options—make it a solid choice for home office use.
