From what we've found, the iRobot Roomba Combo i3+ does a pretty great job picking up pet hair. It uses these dual multi-surface rubber brushes that are designed to avoid tangling, which is a relief if you have shedding pets. This should work well on both carpets and hardwood floors without any trouble.
Also, its suction power seems to be top-notch. The manufacturer says it uses advanced suction to scoop up dirt, dust, and pet hair from various surfaces. So whether your pet is leaving hair on the carpet or tile, it likely has what it takes to handle it.
One thing I think is really handy is the automatic dirt disposal system. The Roomba i3+ has a Clean Base where it empties everything it collects, including pet hair, into a bag. This bag can hold quite a bit, so you won't have to change it too often. It's super convenient if you're not a fan of constantly emptying your vacuum.
Our research suggests pet owners appreciate the smart mapping feature, too. It learns your home's layout and focuses on those high-traffic pet areas. While it doesn't memorize specific rooms like some fancier models do, it does aim to keep areas where your furry friends hang out the most as clean as possible.
If you're juggling pet hair issues, the Roomba i3+ seems like a solid choice. It dodges the common issues some vacuums face, like clogging on certain surfaces, thanks to its tangle-free brushes, strong suction, and handy disposal system.
If you've been searching for a vacuum that really handles pet hair, it might be just what you need.
