From what we've found, the rotation on the OXO Good Grips Lazy Susan Turntable is pretty smooth. Thanks to a solid ball-bearing system in the base, it spins effortlessly. You can easily reach stored items without any annoying sticking or jerking.

This smooth operation is really handy, especially in the kitchen or pantry when you need quick access to your spices, condiments, or kitchen gadgets. The turntable turns quietly and stays stable, even when you've got it fully loaded.

Just a heads up though: there are some differences in the size compared to what's advertised. While it's marketed as an 11-inch turntable, the actual usable surface is about 9.25 inches. The total outer dimension is about 10.5 inches. This could be an issue if you're working with tight spaces like narrow pantry shelves or in the fridge.

Despite that, folks seem to love it for both its function and design. Features like non-slip rubber feet and a high ledge help keep things in place while it turns. It's both easy to use and built to last.

So, if smoothness and functionality are your main concerns, it should do the trick. But if you're tight on space and need to stick to exact sizing, double-check that it fits where you need it.

Overall, while it performs well in keeping things organized and accessible, you'll want to be aware of the slight size differences to avoid any surprises later on.
