Wondering how loud the DEWALT DXV10P 10-gallon Wet/Dry Vacuum is? According to the manufacturer's claims, it's built with a quiet two-stage motor that's supposed to cut noise by up to 50% compared to traditional models. This makes it sound like a good choice for home workshops, garages, or residential areas where you want to keep the noise down.
That said, opinions on noise level can differ quite a bit. Based on our research, there's some mixed feedback about the vacuum's noise. A few folks think the marketing might play up the 'quiet' aspect more than it delivers. While it seems to be less noisy than older, bigger models, it's not exactly whisper-quiet like some high-end brands such as FEIN.
Professional reviewers often echo this sentiment—they see the DEWALT DXV10P as quieter than many industrial-grade vacuums but perhaps not enough for those who are used to machines designed specifically to be super quiet. So if minimizing noise is crucial, especially in areas where silence is essential, you might want to look at other vacuums made for that purpose.
Despite this, the DEWALT DXV10P has its fans for reasons beyond just noise. Its strong suction and versatility make it a go-to for many in need of a robust workshop or garage vacuum. Just weigh these features against the noise factor based on what's most important to you.
All in all, the DEWALT DXV10P might be just right for you if you want something quieter than typical industrial vacuums without sacrificing performance. Think about your surroundings and what you really need before making a decision.
