The BLACK+DECKER LB700 Electric Leaf Blower packs quite a punch when it comes to power and efficiency. But before we get into its performance, just a heads-up: this leaf blower doesn’t come with a power cord. You’ll need to buy an outdoor-rated extension cord separately, which might be a surprise if you're used to things coming with all the bits you need. According to the manufacturer's product description, you'll only find the blower and a blow tube in the package.
Now, as for its power, our research shows that this 7-Amp blower does a great job managing leaves and debris. It's lightweight at just 4.4 pounds, so you can carry it around without wearing yourself out—super handy if you’ve got a bigger yard or plan on using it for longer periods.
What’s nice is that you can pick the extension cord that works best for you—be it longer for a big yard or shorter for smaller areas. Sure, getting your own cord might seem like an extra chore, but many find it worthwhile for being able to customize it to fit their needs.
Performance-wise, the LB700 lives up to its reputation. It effectively clears leaves and light debris and is generally a reliable tool for regular yard maintenance. Plus, it gets recommended quite a bit for being efficient, even if nabbing an extra cord is necessary.
So, if you don’t mind picking out an extension cord, the BLACK+DECKER LB700 could be a solid choice. It combines strong performance with the option to adapt to different yard sizes, all while being easy to handle.
