The PICKILY 225 Piece Picture Hanging Kit seems like a handy option for hanging different types of artwork. Based on the manufacturer’s description, it includes hooks, nails, and three rolls of sturdy steel wire designed to support weights from 10 lbs up to 120 lbs.
Now, here's where things get interesting—according to our research, while the wire is generally sturdy enough for everyday use, there are some mixed reactions, especially with heavier items. Some folks mentioned that the wire struggled a bit under really heavy loads, like mirrors. In a few cases, the wire even broke. So, if you're planning on hanging something particularly heavy, you might want to use thicker wire or add some extra support, you know, just to be safe.
On a positive note, people really like how the kit comes with a bunch of different sizes of nails and hooks. This makes it pretty versatile for hanging stuff of different shapes and sizes. Plus, it comes in a nice storage case, which should keep things organized—just watch out for a bit of chaos if it gets jumbled during shipping.
For lighter to medium-weight decor, this kit should serve you well. I'd suggest checking all the parts when you first get it, as there have been occasional reports of missing pieces.
And if you’re gearing up to hang heavier things, adding tools like a stud finder or wall anchors can help make sure everything stays put.
All in all, the PICKILY 225 Piece Kit offers good value for flexible picture hanging. Just take a few extra steps to secure heavier pieces, and you should be all set.
