The Mr. Heater Little Buddy F215100 is a propane heater that's perfect for small indoor spaces. It puts out 3,800 BTUs, which is good for heating areas up to about 95 square feet. So, think tents, sheds, or small rooms where a bigger heater would just be too much.
Safety is key, and from the manufacturer's description, this model has you covered. It comes with an Oxygen Depletion Sensor and a tip-over shut-off feature. Basically, if the oxygen levels get too low or it tips over, it will shut itself off—offering some peace of mind when it's running indoors.
But, our research suggests making sure there's proper ventilation. Since this is a propane heater, it can produce carbon monoxide, so it's smart to keep a window slightly open and maybe even have a carbon monoxide detector on hand for an extra layer of safety.
From what we've found, folks generally like how it performs, though there are a couple of things to be aware of. The heat output is fixed at 3,800 BTU, which means you don't have different heat settings to fiddle with. In a really small space, you may end up turning it on and off yourself to maintain a comfy temperature.
Also, some people mentioned that the base isn't super stable, so securing it might help prevent it tipping over and shutting off.
All in all, as long as you're careful, the Mr. Heater Little Buddy can be a reliable source of heat in smaller indoor spots. It's handy if you're looking to warm up a cozy area without dragging around a larger heater.
