Hey there!
So, when it comes to the Gifugi 12 PCS Dried Eucalyptus Bundle, the scent is generally mild and gives off a nice, spa-like vibe in the shower. Based on our research, the smell tends to be more noticeable when you're actually showering, thanks to the steam. The manufacturer says the stems are preserved to keep their fresh aroma for a better shower experience.
But here's the thing—it seems like how long the scent lasts can really depend on your specific shower setup, like how much steam there is and how often you use it. It's not a super strong scent; more like a gentle, refreshing aroma that adds to the chill atmosphere.
One thing to watch out for: the green glycerin dye used to preserve the eucalyptus might run a bit and cause some staining on shower surfaces. Our research suggests avoiding getting the eucalyptus too wet or placing it directly under the shower spray. The manufacturer actually suggests putting the bundle between the shower head and the wall to keep it from getting soaked and to help prevent staining issues.
If you’re worried about the dye but still want that eucalyptus scent, you might want to think about alternatives that don’t use those preservation dyes. Some folks prefer naturally dried eucalyptus without any added dyes for that reason.
All in all, while the Gifugi Bundle looks great and smells nice initially, just be mindful of how you handle it to keep everything in good shape. And if you're leaning towards avoiding dyes, there are naturally dried options out there that might work better for you!
