Hey, so if you're wondering about how long the battery lasts on the Venustas Heated Jacket, here's a quick overview. The jacket comes with a 7.4V battery, and the manufacturer says it can last up to 8 hours if you're using it on the lowest heat setting. That's pretty solid if you plan on being outside for a while.
The jacket lets you choose between three heat settings—high, medium, and low—so you can crank up the warmth as needed. But keep in mind, the battery drains faster on higher settings. Our research shows that if you're using the high setting, the battery life won't be as long. Some folks mentioned adjusting their settings based on how long they need the battery to last throughout the day.
Generally, people seem to like this jacket, highlighting its warmth and comfort, which is great for things like skiing or being at outdoor events in winter.
However, there are some comments about the battery and charging process not being perfect. A few people have found that the battery can drain quickly, and some even pick up an extra battery just to make sure they stay warm during long outings.
So, if you’re thinking about getting this jacket, it might be smart to consider getting an extra battery too, especially if you're planning to spend a lot of time in colder weather and won't have a way to charge it easily.
