Hey! So, about the EGO Power+ ST1502SA string trimmer's battery life—it's actually pretty decent. You can expect it to last up to 45 minutes on a full charge, though that might vary a bit depending on how heavy your trimming work is.
It's not a self-propelled model, so you'll be steering it yourself, which is normal for these kinds of trimmers. The good news is, if you're already using other EGO Power+ tools, the batteries are interchangeable. This can be super handy for swapping out batteries quickly if you need to.
From what we've seen, the Rapid Reload head feature makes changing the trimmer line a lot easier once you get the hang of it. Some folks find it smooth right off the bat, while others say it requires a little practice.
Just a heads-up: some people mention that the weight and the manual maneuvering can be a bit of a workout, especially if you're using it for longer periods.
But if you're after a cordless solution with reliable battery life and ease of swapping batteries, this could be a good fit for your yard work.
