KT Tape Pro typically sticks around for about 4 to 7 days if you apply it properly. That's according to what the manufacturer says. The tape is made with synthetic fibers that are supposed to handle water and movement pretty well.
But, keep in mind that a few things might change how long it stays put. From what we've gathered, getting the most out of KT Tape Pro really depends on how you prep and apply it. Make sure your skin is clean and dry before you put it on. This helps the adhesive work better and avoids early peeling.
If you're planning on swimming or getting super sweaty during workouts, using a pre-tape adhesive spray can keep the tape sticking longer.
The tape is said to be reusable, but that's kind of a mixed bag. It all depends on how well it holds up after you take it off the first time. We found that exposure to a lot of water or sweat can mess with the adhesive, making it less likely you'll get a second use. Once it starts peeling, it won't stick as well again.
So, while some folks manage to reuse it, others have to use a fresh strip because the stickiness goes downhill after the first time. How you treat the tape and the kind of activities you're doing play a big part in how long it'll last.
If you're unsure, it might be worth just starting with a new piece and seeing how it fits into your routine.
