The GOSUN Go Portable Camping Stove is a cool solar-powered option for anyone wanting to cook outdoors without using traditional fuel. From what the manufacturer says, this stove can hit up to 550°F (288°C) if the sunlight is just right, which makes it pretty decent for things like boiling water.

The cooking time, though, can vary a lot. Our research shows that how fast you can boil or cook with it depends on things like sunlight intensity and how well you aim it at the sun. For it to work best, you need clear skies and good alignment so the parabolic reflectors can focus the sunlight properly.

Our findings also suggest that while it usually works fine, some folks have mentioned it takes longer than expected, especially if it's partly cloudy or if the sun isn't hitting the reflectors directly. In some cases, boiling water might take up to an hour.

So, it comes down to having a bit of patience and adjusting your expectations based on the weather. If you're out camping or enjoying an outdoor event, it's a good idea to get the hang of positioning it correctly and checking the weather for the best performance.

In the perfect sunny setting, it cooks quite well, but keep in mind that natural conditions might change how long things take.

Overall, the GOSUN Go is a solid choice for cooking when the sun's cooperating. Just make sure you've got it positioned right, pay attention to the sun, and be prepared for some variation in cooking times. It's a unique and eco-friendly way to enjoy a meal outside.
