So, you're wondering how long the Jackery Explorer 1000 can keep a full-size fridge running? Here's the scoop. The Jackery Explorer 1000 has a capacity of 1002Wh and is equipped with three 1000W AC outlets. Whether you're at home or out camping, it's designed to handle quite a range of devices, and fridges are no exception.

The actual time it can power a fridge really depends on how much energy the fridge needs. Most full-size refrigerators use between 150 to 800 watts, depending on how old or efficient they are. For instance, older models usually hog more energy than the newer, energy-saving ones. From what we've gathered, if your fridge uses around 150-200 watts, the Explorer 1000 can keep it going for about 4-6 hours on a single charge.

But here's where it gets interesting: fridges don't draw power continuously—they cycle on and off. This means the Explorer 1000 might actually be able to power your fridge for longer than you might expect, maybe even around 10-12 hours, depending on its usage cycle.

As for keeping the Explorer juiced up, you've got options. According to the manufacturer, it can be recharged from a wall outlet in about 5.5 hours or in around 6 hours using two Jackery SolarSaga 100W solar panels, if you're out in the sun.

There are a couple of things to keep in mind, though. Some folks found the compatibility with certain solar panels to be hit or miss, and others mentioned that the LCD display could be more user-friendly—apparently, it doesn't stay lit for too long.

All in all, if you need a reliable power source for your fridge during a power outage or while off the grid, the Explorer 1000 seems to be a solid choice. Just keep these quirks in mind!
