nullThe Dell XPS 14 (2026) charges from 0% to 50% in about 28 minutes with the included 100W charger. Full charge takes 1.5-2 hours.
What's in the box:
Dell includes a 100W GaN USB-C charger. GaN technology makes it compact and travel-friendly compared to traditional power bricks.
Quick boost math:
28 minutes of charging = 50% battery = 5-7 hours of use on the LCD model. Enough for a meeting or work session.
Charging speed by charger wattage:
| Charger | 0-50% | Full Charge | |---------|-------|-------------| | 100W (included) | ~28 min | ~1.5-2 hrs | | 65W | ~45 min | ~2.5-3 hrs | | 45W | ~60 min | ~3-4 hrs |
Using other USB-C chargers:
The XPS 14 works with any USB-C Power Delivery charger:
- 65W+: Full performance while charging
- 45W: Minimum for active use charging
- Below 45W: Trickle charge only
That MacBook charger or phone charger works, but slower.
Airplane charging:
USB-C ports on planes (typically 20-30W) will extend battery life during flight but won't rapidly recharge. Helpful for long flights.
Battery health:
The 900ED cells handle fast charging without excessive degradation. Dell's adaptive charging adjusts rates based on temperature to preserve long-term health.
Charger recommendation:
Use reputable USB-C PD chargers from known brands. Cheap chargers can potentially damage the battery.
