The T-fal Ultimate Hard Anodized 12-inch Fry Pan has this cool feature called the Thermo-Spot that’s supposed to help you know when it's perfectly preheated.

Basically, it turns solid red when the pan's hot enough, making it easier to get that even heat before tossing in your ingredients.

From what we've gathered, people have mixed feelings about how well the Thermo-Spot actually works. A good number find it handy for timing when to start cooking, but others mention it doesn’t always change color like it’s supposed to. This inconsistency can be a bit annoying if you're counting on it for that perfect heat.
