Setting up the Blink Video Doorbell and Outdoor 4 cameras isn't too tricky, especially if you’re up for a bit of DIY.
According to our research, most people manage to set things up on their own without calling in an expert. The package includes easy-to-follow instructions, and if you’re pretty handy with basic tools, you’ll probably find it a breeze.
For the Blink Video Doorbell, you'll need to grab the Blink app (it's on iOS and Android) to get things going. The app walks you through connecting the doorbell to your Wi-Fi, and installing it by your door just requires some simple tools.
You can either hardwire it or use batteries, which is neat since it offers some flexibility depending on your existing setup.
The Blink Outdoor 4 cameras work the same way—start with the app. They’re wire-free, so you can place them wherever your Wi-Fi reaches, and setting them up is straightforward with the included mounting kit. They're built to last through various weather conditions, so they're pretty reliable.
If you don’t mind following some app guides and using basic tools, you should have them up and running without much fuss. Plus, they come in black or white, so you can pick the color that fits your home's look.
Overall, it's a handy system to add some extra security without too much hassle.
