When it comes to how durable Z-COLOR felting needles are, there's a bit of a mixed bag here. The kit comes with 60 needles in three sizes (7.9 cm, 8.6 cm, and 9.1 cm), so there's a good variety to play with, especially if you're just starting out in needle felting. They're made from metal, and each size has its own reusable pouch, which is handy for keeping them organized.

But, according to our research, there are a few things you might want to keep an eye on. It seems like some folks find the needles tend to break more easily compared to other brands, which could be down to the metal quality or how they're made. Plus, there's the occasional mention of them arriving with a bit of rust, possibly because they might not have been oiled enough during storage.

Another thing to note is that if you're using them with certain tools like the Clover 'Pen Style' felting tool, the needles might not fit as perfectly as you'd hope. This is due to their slightly longer hook shape at the bottom, so that's worth considering if you already have specific tools.

Still, a lot of people appreciate the kit for its affordability and the number of needles you get. It's great for beginners or anyone who tends to go through needles quickly.

If you're starting out or replacing needles often, this kit might do the job without breaking the bank. But, if you're after something robust for intense or professional-level projects, you might want to check out other higher-end options. Just keep in mind you're getting a good amount for the price, but there are some trade-offs with durability.
