The bits in the Bosch T4047L 47-Piece Set are crafted from high-carbon and S2 tool steel, which are materials known for their durability in fastening work. According to our research, they're sturdy enough for tasks involving wood, metal, and some light masonry.

However, keep in mind that this set is meant more for screw-driving rather than drilling, especially since it doesn't come with the drill bits needed for masonry or metal-specific work.

When it comes to handling heavy torque with standard drills, these bits perform quite well. However, it's important to use them with the right tools. They aren't ideal for impact or hammer drills, as this can lead to faster wear or even breakage over time, based on what we've found.

A lot of people like that the set includes multiple bits of the most commonly used sizes, which can be super helpful if you find yourself reaching for the same bits regularly. On the downside, some feel that the lack of variety might be a limitation if you're looking for a broader selection for different tasks beyond screw-driving.

If you're looking for more versatility and want to expand your tool set, you might want to look at additional, specialized bits. For masonry and concrete, Bosch has other options like their SDS-plus Bulldog Tough Rotary Hammer Bit.

And for woodworking, their Router Bit Set could be handy. These could round out your collection and give you more flexibility for various projects.
