The TCL 65-Inch Q7 QLED 4K Smart Google TV seems pretty solid for gaming, especially with its HDMI 2.1 support that's perfect for next-gen consoles. This means you can enjoy cool features like 4K at 120Hz, VRR, and ALLM, which are great for gaming on the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.
That said, our research indicates that some gamers have run into occasional issues, like screen flickering or signal instability, particularly when using features like HDR and VRR simultaneously. It's a bit of a bummer if you're trying to max out its capabilities, but there are ways around it.
Messing with your console's settings or adjusting the TV's HDMI settings might help smooth things outâtweaking the resolution and refresh rate have helped some folks.
On the plus side, the picture quality is frequently praised. The QLED tech gives you vibrant colors, which is a huge win for those immersive game environments. Plus, the TV supports high refresh rates, smoothing out fast-paced action games.
So, despite a few hiccups with advanced features, the TCL Q7 is definitely worth considering for your gaming needs. It's got great connectivity and displays quality, so with a bit of patience and tweaking, this TV could be a good addition to your gaming setup.
