The 2021 iPad Pro 11-inch with the M1 chip is really quite impressive. Our research shows that this chip gives it a boost in speed and efficiency that's close to what you'd find in desktop computers. It handles intensive tasks like video editing and graphic design with ease, making it a solid choice for creative professionals looking for powerful performance.
The 11-inch Liquid Retina display is another highlight. Its 120Hz refresh rate and 2388-by-1668 resolution make everything look super smooth and vibrant, whether you're scrolling or gaming. While it might not have Apple's XDR tech, our data suggests its clarity and color accuracy are still top-notch for most users who want a great viewing experience.
The cameras are also noteworthy. With a dual rear camera setup and a 12MP ultra-wide front camera featuring Center Stage, you can take amazing photos and keep yourself centered during video calls as the camera automatically adjusts. This is particularly handy for virtual meetings or creating content according to our research.
In terms of connectivity and accessories, it doesn't fall short. There's a Thunderbolt port offering fast and versatile connectivity, and you can also use accessories like the Apple Pencil 2 and Magic Keyboard, though you'll need to buy them separately.
Overall, feedback from our research is that people are pretty thrilled with the iPad Pro's speed, especially with gaming and running pro apps. There are some iPadOS updates enhancing multitasking that users appreciate.
However, there are a few grumbles about battery life under heavy use and occasional connectivity issues, which seem more common in refurbished units. But generally, the sentiment is very positive.
So, if you're looking for a high-performance tablet that can almost stand in for a laptop or desktop, the iPad Pro 11-inch with the M1 chip is a solid bet.
