Hey there! If you're curious about how the Forest Whisper 12 Hole Ocarina sounds, here's the scoop. People really appreciate its warm and clear tones, adding that it creates beautiful melodies.
The manufacturer describes it as having a rich and resonant sound, thanks to its ceramic build and unique strawfire process, which also gives it a rustic look and smoky scent.
Now, about that aroma—it's something you might want to keep in mind. According to our research, that initial smoky scent from the strawfire process can be pretty strong. Some folks even reported feeling a bit nauseated if they're sensitive to odors, especially during long playing sessions.
But don't worry; the smell tends to fade with use or if you let it air out in a well-ventilated spot. If you're worried about the scent, try leaving the ocarina where it can get some airflow when you're not playing. This trick works for lots of people, and the smell should decrease over time.
If scents are a real deal breaker for you, maybe consider an ocarina made from another material, like plastic, though that might change the sound a bit.
Overall, the Forest Whisper 12 Hole Ocarina is loved for its sound and design. Just weigh that unique aroma against your own preferences and see what works for you!
