How It Works

The H2 chip uses computational audio processing with motion sensors (accelerometer and gyroscope) to apply directional audio filters simulating real-world sound placement.

Head Tracking

When watching video, sound stays anchored to the screen as you turn your head. Turn left and sound from the right increases. This creates a natural, theater-like experience.

Personalized Spatial Audio

Scan your ears with iPhone camera for a custom audio profile based on your ear geometry. Access in Settings > [Your AirPods] > Personalized Spatial Audio.

Controls
