When you're comparing Luvs Size 2 diapers with other brands in terms of absorbency, there's a lot to consider. Here's what our research found.

Luvs promote their diapers as providing up to 12 hours of leak protection with these 'Triple Leakguards'. They've got stretchy sides and secure cuffs, aiming to contain leaks where they tend to happen. That sounds promising if you're looking for overnight reliability.

But here's the thing: according to what we've found, many parents like how budget-friendly Luvs are, especially for daytime use. However, some have had mixed experiences with overnight absorbency. A few parents said they dealt with leaks even before the diaper was fully used up, which makes that 12-hour protection claim a bit debatable.

So, what works great for one baby might not work as well for another, especially with heavy nighttime wetters.

As for size, Luvs Size 2 should fit your little one's needs, but our data also showed some parents felt they ran a tad small. Compared to brands like Pampers, they might not fit quite as snugly, which could impact how well they handle leaks.

So, double-checking the fit could save some mess and hassle.

Overall, Luvs Diapers offer some handy features like a wetness indicator and hypoallergenic materials, but it's a good idea to keep expectations in check, particularly for nighttime use.

They seem to be a solid choice if you're on a budget and primarily need them for daytime, but if overnight protection is a must, you might want to consider pairing them with other overnight options for the best coverage.
