The Hogius Cordless Bug Zapper has a light that's designed to attract bugs using UV light. According to the manufacturer's description, it's meant to work well in different outdoor settings, but they don't give a specific brightness level in lumens.

From our research, it seems like folks find the light does a good job of luring insects in. It's apparently bright enough to do the trick, especially when you're outside in the evening or camping where the lighting isn't great.

It's worth noting the zapper comes with a 2500mAh battery. The manufacturer claims it can keep going for up to 16 hours on one charge, which should cover you through the night.

But, keep in mind, how long the battery actually lasts can change depending on how you're using it. Things like running it at full blast or in really active bug areas might use up battery faster.

Regular recharging is probably a good idea if you're using it heavily or overnight. Luckily, it charges via USB, so you can top it up with a power bank or a regular USB outlet if you're on the move. This can be really handy if you're camping or just hanging out in your backyard.

Overall, while our data shows the light is effective, just be sure to keep an eye on the battery. It's a handy gadget for outdoor bug control as long as you keep it charged and ready to go.
