When you put together the LEGO 21313 Ship in a Bottle set, it ends up being about 3 inches (8 cm) high, 12 inches (31 cm) wide, and 3 inches (10 cm) deep. The set has 962 pieces, and it features a detailed little ship inside a cool bottle with a stand. The manufacturer mentions that there are more than 280 translucent-blue elements mimicking water, giving it a really neat look. The stand also has decorative bits like a compass and globes, which make it a nice piece to display.
Based on our research, people really like the intricate design and the challenge of building it. It seems to be popular among adult LEGO fans and collectors who appreciate its elegance and creativity. Recreating a classic 'ship in a bottle' using LEGO is a hit with many.
But, some have mentioned that the bottle isn't as clear as they'd like, making it tricky to see the ship from every angle when it's all done. So, while the darker tint might make viewing the ship a bit harder, folks still find the set pretty appealing overall.
In short, if you're looking for a decorative and artistic LEGO set with a unique build, this is a great choice. Just keep in mind the visibility issue if seeing every detail from all angles is super important to you.
Otherwise, if you love the design and creativity, it should be a satisfying addition to your collection.
