The Ecosense RD200 RadonEye is considered pretty reliable when it comes to radon detection, especially if you're interested in continuous long-term monitoring of indoor air quality. The manufacturer describes it as offering both short-term and long-term radon level assessments, and it includes trend charts so you can see how levels change over time.

It uses a special ion chamber radon sensor to update data every 10 minutes, with hourly rolling averages, which should help you understand any changes in radon levels effectively.

From what we've found, many people are happy with how fast and accurate the RD200's readings are. It checks radon levels 30 times an hour and sends the results to your smartphone via Bluetooth, so it's quite convenient for regular monitoring. You won't need to interact with the device itself too often.

However, some folks have mentioned that while the hardware is reliable, the app could use some work. There've been reports of difficulties in tracking readings over time, which suggests that even though the device works well, the app could improve in managing the data.

The real-time monitoring feature seems to work well according to our research. Users say it's good at picking up environmental changes, like when a window opens, which can affect radon levels.

Still, a few concerns about the app's functionality have popped up, mainly that it could benefit from timestamped reports. Despite these issues, the RD200 seems to be a solid option if you're looking at it for long-term radon level tracking.

Overall, if you need something accurate for both short-term and ongoing radon level checks in your home, the Ecosense RD200 is worth considering. Just keep in mind that while the device itself is reliable, the app might give you some trouble.

Even so, it's a popular and trusted choice for continuous radon monitoring.
