The Meguiar's X2000 Water Magnet Microfiber Drying Towel seems to do a pretty solid job when it comes to drying your car. The manufacturer claims it can soak up twice as much water as your standard terry towel, which should help speed things up and save you some hassle. It's got a waffle texture and is a decent size (22" x 30"), both of which apparently boost its drying power.

From what we've gathered, most folks are pretty happy with how well it absorbs water and leaves a nice spot-free finish. Plus, it's soft enough not to scratch your car's paint. For bigger surfaces like the hood and windshield, it usually handles them in just one swipe.

However, the absorbency feedback isn't all sunshine and roses. Some people say it lives up to or even surpasses their expectations, while others mention it can get saturated quickly. So, you might need to wring it out more often, especially if you're dealing with a big car or a humid day.

Just a side note, while this towel is great for many, if you're on the hunt for something super absorbent or bigger, there are other options. Some reviewers suggest considering other products if you need more heavy-duty drying power.

Overall, the Meguiar's X2000 Water Magnet is a good pick for most car lovers, especially those who like to take care of their own drying. It might not be the ultimate choice if maximum absorbency is a must, but it's definitely a reliable and gentle option.
