The Wolf Forte Secundo Violin Shoulder Rest is known for being really adjustable, which is great, because it means you can tweak it to fit exactly how you like. The manufacturer even mentions that its flexible metal part molds to your shoulder and lets you adjust the height and length.
This adjustability is especially helpful if you have a longer neck or unique shoulder shape. Our research backs this up, with lots of folks mentioning how the various adjustments make it more comfortable for longer playing sessions, reducing fatigue.
However, when you max out those adjustments—especially the height—some people have found it doesn't stay as secure. Occasionally, the rubber feet might slip a bit, which could affect how well it stays attached to the violin.
So, while the adjustability is a big plus, just make sure everything is properly snug, so it stays put while you're playing.
Overall, despite a few points of feedback about attachment security, most people seem to really appreciate its comfort and support, making it a go-to choice for a lot of violinists.
