Hey! So, if you're wondering about the Nikon COOLPIX P950's RAW shooting capability, it does indeed have it. The manufacturer's description mentions that it can shoot in RAW (NRW) format, which is great news if you like tinkering with your images in post-processing.
RAW files give you a lot more latitude for editing—like adjusting exposure and color balance—without sacrificing quality.
It's also worth mentioning a few things we've found. The camera is fantastic for those zoomed-in shots, thanks to its 83x optical zoom. But, some feedback suggests that when you're pushing it to the limits of that zoom, image quality might not be as sharp as you'd get with cameras that have larger sensors.
It's got a 16MP 1/2.3-inch sensor, so those super zoomed-in shots can sometimes be less crisp.
On the bright side, folks love it for certain things, like moon and bird photography. Plus, it has some handy extras like 4K video, an electronic viewfinder, and even a hot shoe for extra gear.
Overall, if zoom versatility and RAW capability are what you're after, the P950 could be a solid pick. Just keep in mind that if ultimate image quality is a priority, you'd probably want to look into cameras with bigger sensors.
