Yep, the Furbo Dog Camera can definitely work for cats too. While it's mainly marketed for dogs, the features like live video, barking alerts, and treat dispensing are handy for cat owners as well. The manufacturer says you can see, talk to, and toss treats to your pets, which works for both dogs and cats.
So, if you want to keep an eye on your cat when you're not home, this could be a good option. The app's easy to use and compatible with both iOS and Android, so it doesn't matter what kind of phone you have.
Our research shows that cat owners especially like the treat tossing feature since cats have fun with the interactive play. You can also use the two-way audio to talk to your cat if they seem anxious, and the night vision is perfect for low light conditions.
Setting it up is a breeze. Just download the app and follow the steps to connect it to your Wi-Fi. Plus, you can log in on multiple devices with the same credentials, which is great if more than one person wants to check in.
Just keep in mind, only two people can watch the live feed at the same time.
Another cool thing is that Furbo works with Alexa. You can use voice commands to control the camera, making it super easy to interact with your cat without having to use your phone.
For example, you can ask Alexa to toss a treat or show the live feed on an Echo Show. According to our research, folks find the Furbo Camera reliable and versatile, whether they have dogs or cats.
