The Carex Toilet Safety Frame is really useful if you or someone you know needs a bit more support getting on and off the toilet, like for the elderly, folks recovering from surgery, or those with disabilities.
Now, when it comes to whether it fits all toilet sizes, here's what we found out. According to the product description, this frame has an adjustable width from 16 to 18 inches. That means it should work with most standard toilets, whether they're elongated or round. However, if your toilet has an unusual size or shape, it's a good idea to measure it beforehand just to be sure.
Setting up the frame seems to be pretty straightforward—our research suggests it takes just a few minutes to install. Plus, it doesn't hog bathroom space, which is a bonus if you're short on room. The cushioned hand grips are a nice touch too, especially if arthritis or a weak grip is an issue.
While it's mostly praised for being sturdy and supportive, a few things to watch out for include making sure it's secured properly. If not, the frame might slip or shift, especially under a lot of weight. So, double-check that it's snug around the toilet bowl and maybe have a routine check to ensure it stays safe.
In short, the Carex Toilet Safety Frame is generally a solid choice for adding some safety to your bathroom. Just make sure it fits your toilet size and is properly secured for the best results.
