Worried about your HERSHEY'S 33.36 oz party pack melting during shipping? Totally get that. Who wants a melted mess, right? Based on what we've found, most big chocolate distributors take some solid steps to minimize melting during transit. But yeah, there are a few things you should think about.
For one, melting is more of an issue when it's warm outside. Some stores use insulated packaging or cold packs to keep everything cool, but how they handle it can depend on which place you order from. If you're concerned, it's smart to buy from stores that mention using temperature-controlled packaging.
Faster shipping can also help. Sure, it might cost a bit more, but the chocolates spend less time in transit, so there's less chance for them to melt.
It's a good idea to check out the retailer's shipping policy on temperature-sensitive goods. Some don't promise to keep things melt-free, though our research shows people generally have good luck getting this party pack in perfect shape. Keep in mind, it can still depend on where you live and what time of year it is.
And hey, if you're planning for a special day, maybe order a few days in advance. That covers any shipping hiccups and ensures you have the chocolates in hand when you need them.
Most folks seem to think the deliciousness of this party pack is well worth any small risk of melting. It's a great mix for parties or just for treating yourself at home.
So just be a bit careful, and you'll likely be enjoying those chocolates unmelted!
