The Lavievert Jigsaw Puzzle Mat Roll Up is a nice option if you're into puzzles and need something to hold up to 1,500 pieces. It's made from a non-slip felt material, which is great for keeping your pieces in place while you're working on them.
But, this also means sliding pieces around might not be as easy, which could be a bit annoying if you like to shuffle them a lot while figuring out where they fit.
One interesting feature is the inflatable tube that comes with it. According to the manufacturer, you can use this to roll up your mat with all your puzzle pieces intact. You'll need to squeeze open the valve to inflate it, which sounds pretty straightforward, but our research shows some folks find it a bit tricky without a pump.
So, that might be something to keep in mind.
Once you've got it rolled up, the tube and the elastic bands secure everything together, making it easier to stow away without taking up much space. People do appreciate this, although there's a mixed bag of opinions regarding the risk of minor displacement when rolling it up.
Some appreciate how it helps keep their projects ongoing without needing a dedicated space. However, a few points of contention are the felt material occasionally picking up lint or hair and the chance of creasing, which might get in the way of starting or packing up your puzzle.
Overall, it's a solid choice if managing your space efficiently is a priority, but if you're worried about creasing or the inflation process seems cumbersome, it might be worth checking out other mats with different materials or easier handling options.
