Hey, using the SimpliSafe 8 Piece system outside the U.S. comes with a few things to consider.
The manufacturer's description says it works with Alexa and Google Assistant, but it turns out this feature is mainly for folks in the U.S. and UK.
Our research shows that the Alexa functions are limited by region, which can be a bit of a setback if you're somewhere else—especially in Canada, where people have been bummed to find out these features aren't accessible.
So, if having Alexa control is important to you and you're not in the U.S. or UK, double-check with SimpliSafe about their support for your region, or think about other systems that might fit better globally.
Just something to keep in mind before making a decision.
