The iRobot Roomba i3+ EVO (3550) has some neat features, like its self-emptying dustbin, which can be a lifesaver if you're always busy or have pets. It's also pretty good at dealing with pet hair. But when it comes to handling multiple floors, there are some limitations to keep in mind.

The i3+ EVO uses Smart Mapping to learn your home's layout and clean room by room. However, it's not designed to store multiple floor plans. So if you want to clean on different floors, you'll need to move the charging base and the Roomba to the new floor each time. It'll then have to learn the new layout from scratch.

According to our research, some people have found a workaround by creating separate maps for each floor through different cleaning sessions, but it's not as seamless as models that support multi-floor mapping out of the box.
