Hey there! So, if you're wondering about how easy Coghlan's Waterproof Matches are to light, here’s the scoop from what we've gathered.
These matches definitely seem to hit the mark when it comes to lighting up in damp conditions. According to our research, they do pretty well even if they get wet, which is super reassuring if you're out camping or hiking and can't control the weather.
The matches come in a small, pocket-friendly box, around 40 per box, and the manufacturer points out they’re designed not to light accidentally, which is great for safety.
But, heads up: you need to be gentle with them. Some folks mentioned they can be a bit fragile, so being too aggressive when striking them might lead to them breaking, which is a bummer if you're deep in the wilderness.
Another thing to be aware of is the striker strip on the box. Our data suggests it can wear out faster than you'd think—some mentioned it might only last for a few uses.
So, if you’re planning something like a long backpacking trip, keep this in mind.
Overall, if you just need something for a backup or short trip, they’re pretty affordable and work well when you need them.
If you're up for more rugged adventures though, maybe look into something like UCO Titan Stormproof Matches for sturdiness.
Just remember to handle Coghlan's with a bit of care, and maybe have a plan B for longer trips. Hope that helps!
