TLDR Review: BUG-A-SALT 3.0
Verdict
The BUG-A-SALT Yellow 3.0 is a highly effective and fun way to deal with flies and other small insects, making pest control a more engaging experience while still being a serious tool rather than a toy. It excels at close-range bug elimination with satisfying results but requires some effort to cock and careful handling to avoid injury. If you want a durable, reliable gadget that adds a bit of excitement to your bug battles, this is a solid choice. However, if budget is a priority or you want something that works at longer distances, you might want to explore other options.
- Top pro:
- Highly effective at eliminating flies and small insects like mosquitoes and juvenile spotted lantern flies indoors and outdoors.
- Top con:
- Works best within a limited range; larger or tougher bugs require multiple shots at very close distances (around 5 cm).
