The Doodle Hog 12-pack Tie Dye Kit can tie-dye around 24 to 36 shirts. The manufacturer suggests you'll get about 36 shirts if you stick to lighter colors and standard techniques. But if you're going for more vibrant colors or intricate designs, you might end up with closer to 24 shirts since these methods use more dye per shirt.
According to our research, many folks find the kit great for group activities like birthday parties, family gatherings, or school projects. For example, one person mentioned that they managed to tie-dye shirts for 30 kids at summer camp with just one kit, though they did have to be a bit careful with how much dye they used.
The kit also has easy-to-squeeze dye bottles, gloves, and a detailed guide. It's user-friendly whether you're just starting out or have some experience. The instructions even give tips on different dyeing techniques, which can help you figure out how much dye you'll need per shirt.
Another big plus is safety. The manufacturer's product description highlights that the dyes are non-toxic and fume-free, so they're safe for all ages. This is especially reassuring for families and educators using it in various settings.
So, if you're planning to tie-dye around 24 to 36 shirts and want a safe, fun experience, the Doodle Hog 12-pack Tie Dye Kit should work well for you.
