The Replogle Globes Garrison Globe isn't illuminated. From what we found in the manufacturer's product description, this model is designed as a 16-inch globe with raised relief, providing a detailed map style without any lighting inside. Its antique design makes it a nice fit for places like an office, study, or living room.
It's made with quality materials—a globe ball from 100% reclaimed paper fiber and a solid hardwood stand, which shows a commitment to both quality and sustainability. The globe uses executive colors for its maps, capturing National Geographic's detailed representations, and it relies on this design, rather than lights, to make it stand out.
If you're specifically looking for an illuminated globe, you might want to check other Replogle models that offer lighting.
Our research indicates that the Garrison Globe gets positive feedback for its solid and handsome design, although there have been some hiccups with assembly, like missing pieces or misaligned screws. It seems Replogle usually resolves these issues quickly, so their customer service appears to be solid.
While this globe is a beautiful piece for anyone who appreciates a classic look, it may not be the best choice if illumination is a must-have for you.
